Kick-Off Meeting — MOSAIC General Discussion
BST (UK)
A general discussion to open the new academic year: members reintroduced themselves and shaped the agenda for 2023/2024 — which topics, speakers, papers, and methods to cover in upcoming sessions.

To kick off a new academic year, this session took the form of an open general discussion rather than a talk. It offered a platform for everyone to reintroduce themselves, share perspectives, and discuss the focus and future of the MOSAIC group — collaboratively identifying salient topics for upcoming sessions and shaping a meaningful agenda for 2024.
In preparation, members were invited to think about: which topics they would like to discuss in future; which speakers to invite; which papers could work for a paper discussion with invited authors; which methods they would like to learn; and any other uses for the meetings.
