About MOSAIC

MOSAIC — the Multimodal Social Interactions Group — is an international community of 200+ scholars who meet monthly to discuss pressing topics in social interaction research. It was founded in 2021 by Rachael Jack and Jonas Nölle at the School of Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Glasgow and has since grown rapidly into an open cross-institutional and transdisciplinary platform for researchers at all career stages.

Each month we run a Grand Challenge: a 90-minute online session built around invited talks, demos, and open discussion. Topics span the many modalities of social interaction — facial expression, gesture, voice, language, wearable sensing, and the role of AI and machines in how we communicate.

Everyone is welcome to join, whether you’re a researcher, a student, or simply curious. Please feel free to spread the word.

  3. You can leave the email body empty. Send the message from the address you want on the list.
