This month’s meeting was a discussion and brainstorm about the promises and pitfalls of artificial intelligence in the context of social interaction research. The goal was to identify both the opportunities that modern AI tools and models can offer and the problems associated with them.
After a short introduction and a presentation on a practical application of AI in social interaction research, the group moved into breakout rooms, each dedicated to a specific theme: AI as models of brain and behaviour, AI as experimental tools, ethics, and data.
